I vistit Ripley some years ago. My great-granperents are buried there at ferndale. My GrandFather Roy Sampson was born 1892 Ripley,Me. I been trying to get more info on the Sampson, Lane and Dunlap family of ripley. Charles, George, Hiram and Noah Sampson, Richard Lane are my Grandperents.
The Ripley Historical Society Meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30. At times, they meet at the town hall, or the Courser Memorial School, depending on the weather.
Current projects include: organizing and archiving town artifacts developing a web page annual historical calendar creating a museum
